This Privacy Policy explains how Scintillant Ventures Ltd. ("Scintillant") handles personal information in connection with its online teacher workflow management platform, "Classroom Studio" (the "Platform"). It should be read together with our [Terms of Service](https://classroom.studio/terms?hsLang=en). By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
## 1.Overview
The Platform allows its users (the "Users") to upload content, share content with other Users, and communicate with other Users. To provide these functions, Scintillant collects and uses certain personal information as described below. Scintillant is the operator of the Platform and is responsible for personal information handled through it.
## 2.Information we collect
To use the Platform, you may be required to provide your name, email address, location, and other information requested by Scintillant from time to time (collectively, the "Personal Information"). You may also provide content you choose to upload, such as text, images, video, and audio.
## 3.How we use it
Personal Information will be used only to facilitate the functionality of the Platform and not for any other purpose. This includes operating your Account, enabling you to upload and share content, allowing communication between Users, and maintaining the security of the Platform.
## 4.No targeted advertising
Scintillant does not use your Personal Information for targeted advertisements. Scintillant does not sell your Personal Information.
## 5.Storage & third parties
Personal Information may be stored with Scintillant's third-party cloud storage service provider. Where Scintillant relies on service providers to help operate the Platform, those providers are permitted to access Personal Information only as needed to provide their services.
## 6.Security
Scintillant takes reasonable steps to protect Personal Information. However, you acknowledge and agree that no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and the Platform is provided over third-party networks (e.g. internet, cellular networks, and satellite networks) that are outside Scintillant's control.
## 7.Retention
Scintillant retains Personal Information for as long as needed to provide the Platform and for legitimate business or legal purposes.
## 8.Eligibility & children
You must be at least 19 years old to use the Platform. The Platform is not directed to children, and Scintillant does not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under that age. Where the Platform is used by an organization such as a school or school district, both the individual and the organization are considered Users.
## 9.Your choices
You may request to access, correct, or delete your Personal Information by contacting us using the details below. Some requests may be subject to applicable legal requirements or limited by information Scintillant is required to retain.
## 10.Changes to this policy
Scintillant may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time in its sole discretion. The most recent version will be posted at [https://classroom.studio](https://classroom.studio?hsLang=en), and you should regularly check for updates. If you continue to use the Platform after this Privacy Policy changes, you will be deemed to have agreed to the updated policy.
